Throttle issue

Hi folks,

Have a 2005 facelift coupe (4200).

It's not had a lot of use of late, and had lazy throttle pedal the other day (low power). Had happened before a service some months ago, but at that time I'd done the battery off for a few hours, then a min or so on MAR, 10 mins idling no input, and that had cleared the issue - and nothing noted on subsequent service.

This time there were a bunch of throttle position errors (pointing to pedal), including permanent errors. There were no butterfly errors, so think it's not related to throttle body.

Funny thing is, the pedal was testing fine, the throtttle body testing fine. When the errors were cleared, the fault didn't come back, and car now driving OK again. Only thing unusual is I think the car had a F1DBW that was removed, so has the old harness.

Is the pedal sensors a known issue, Should I just replace it?

Thanks.

Not one that has come up on the 4200 much... I think you last point may be the cause.
