Three years with my 3200

I have now had my 1999 Maserati 3200 for almost three years and so far it has been a great experience although I do keep the 'forecasters of doom' in mind and I am prepared for the predicted kick in the nuts. She has just turned 44,000 miles and the only trouble so far was the alarm fob forgetting the link to the immobiliser and the need to fit a new battery. These issues could arise with any car.
It has taken three years to improve the car to a level that I am reasonably happy with and would be reluctant to let her go and let someone else benefit from my efforts as I know that I would probably want another 3200 in the future and don't want to do it all again with another car.
The thing is that I have discovered that a Granturismo will fit in my garage - just. I have always believed that they were too big. So, the plan is to look for an MC shift. The two forum cars recently being offered were excellent examples and were about the right budget but black interiors are not really for me.
I will therefore be keeping my eye open for forum cars being offered for sale and will probably give DG a call.
Ideally I would look for a red, blue or metallic black car with a lighter interior and a huge spec.
It's just another itch to scratch but I hope that the 3200 will stay with me for a good few years yet.

Good to hear Gogs, the trick with these cars is keeping the maintenance up together and constantly fettling them.

Here's to another trouble free 3 years.

GTS, they are also a great car and sort of the end of a bread really so you should not deny yourself one if she fits.

MGT is selling a lovely example with all the service up to date, you should consider it if the colour fits:

I did consider the example that MGT is offering and it looks a lovely example which should need very little expenditure in the near future but a black interior would not be my choice. I must admit I did wonder about sticking to my interior colour preference and someone is going to buy a lovely car.
