Thoughts on consolidating maybe 3 cars into 1?

Does look good value for an air-cooled, the Lancia looks nice as does the low mileage R129 SL only a 320 but under £9k a lot of motor
Ha! Have to agree, I bought it! totally original with full service/MoT history to back 38k miles. Justin Banks is taking a very realistic approach to dealing in the current environment. Interesting stock (Ferrari 412 manual, Citroen SM, 100k mile 550 Maranello, '85 turbo etc)

I always enjoy looking at Justin Banks cars for sale.
Another nice chap I met at the NEC Classic Cars Show a few years ago.

The SL looked a good buy, a bit of cheap summer fun and you won't lose much depreciation as long as you sensible with the mileage

If you do want and Audi R8, i have a friend who has an early (ish) manual one in silver with maybe 20k miles on that he’s for 10 years. He also has a Huracan and doesn’t use the r8 at all. I think you steal it if you wanted.

Any more detail on the R8 by any chance? Year of manufacture...service history...recent work and current condition....HPI record...etc etc?

I think you are right Adam and I've always had this worse scenario can only be I lose the 100% value of the vehicle.

Funny I remember saying that on my first TVR. Cost me £9250 from memory and remember saying the worst thing that can happen is I lose £9250. I wasn't expecting it to come to that but as it worked out it cost me about £4k in the end for my unfortunate error. Wasn't so bad in the end.

Most of what I have are all fairly bottomed out but of course if the market has a seismic shift of course the values could fall much further. I'd just keep them and look at the and still be eternally happy and feel lucky and privileged.

That is my concern on going higher up the value chain for one as the exposure to a bigger hit is higher......but what the h3ll....we might not be here tomorrow. This resaonates at the moment more than ever.

I took that logic when I was younger with a v6 vectra. Turns out you can lose more than the cars value in a short space of time factoring in repairs. Crazy thing is I hated it that much I'd have sold it for even less if needed....never had a car that I physically wanted to hit before or since.
