R129 Mercedes are a bargain. Incredibly well built. I like the early cars best, for me, cleaner styling, the most bomb proof, and exemplary engineering.

But it's not a challenge stradale - it's a fake (or evocation if you prefer).

It's also half the price of an actual Challenge Stradale.

Its not the perfect car but 1of 2 Superleggerra's for sale on Autotrader uk. The other one is 115k & this one is 79k. Not sure why its had a engine rebuild so fast. Could be mainly tracked hard miles.

On the first version of the Gallardo, the cats break up, get sucked back into the engine which results in a rebuild.

Costs of rebuilds have been £20+k so I feel for the owner of this.

The same happened on some 4200's if I recall

The devil is in the detail as how far down the Evocation route it has gone - hopefully it is more than just stripes
