For me it's got to be a BMW 850Csi (E31) from the 90's... one of the best examples of a car sporting popup lights, in my opinion. Un-officially a 'detuned' M8 with the special 'S' engine designation... slow by today's standards, but what a motor.

There's one on AT currently for about £55k, and as they're so few and far between I can't see it depreciating - and if I was going to spend that much on a car, I doubt it would be a BMW... so that's why I shelve it under the 'out of reach' category.

Slowly coming to the conclusion most things, particularly Maseratis, are out of reach. Still, I can dream.

I loved these. Ever since I saw Clarkson road test it when it came out I just yearned for one.

Rare car that. I always preferred the CSi though mainly because I prefer the look. The front bumper looked better. Cars from a very different era. Love them.
