Here we go again...

Cat D, wrong used headlights fitted, cheap Chinese aftermarket bonnet fitted.

If they skimped on the item you can see, what did they skimp on underneath.

3 years ago, it was up for £50k and hung around for nearly a year.

Had the plate MAMA or something on it and the full decal kit.

Hard enough impact to deploy the airbags and pre tentioners. Requires new dash....or you can stick a bit of plastic over the hole blown in the passenger dashboard top!

Drivers steering wheel airbag looks wrong colour, probably off a QP or other model.

Engine bay crossmember under the throttle body has been painted white, it should be grey.

Engine covers scratched and marked, and all look different colours.

Airflow meter is all scuffed along the top from the impact.

Passenger side of the engine guard has snapped away from the scuttle and sitting an inch lower that it should.

Headlights are not Stradale ones, the indicators should be clear with amber bulbs, suspect they are from a 4.2. Bonnet is aftermarket and not the correct twin vent polyester bonnet, it has the extra nose vent ala the 4 seater plus some crazy large twin vents up near the scuttle.

So if it's had seat belt pre-tensioners and airbags deployed, shouldn't they be properly fixed before resale? Or a check on the MOT?

Side indicator repeaters should be clear with amber bulb, wheels are the wrong colour.

Another image of the broken engine guard, this is where the main power board is housed:

I am happy to look at any cars. I also have to bite my tongue when I see incorrect stuff on members cars.

I used to be able to spot a 4200 that’s front bumper had been removed/refitted from 200 yards..the spacers fall out and never get put back and are more often than not just thrown away.

Sorry, my OCD kicked in and I just went to town.

Its a shite repair!

With the engine guards removed, I suspect more horrors will be exposed.

quite right, you have a very good eye, problem is some poor unsuspecting soul will still eventually buy it that doesn't have such a trained eye/knowledge of these cars, I've been to many classic car auctions and I'm still gobsmacked at the prices paid/achieved for glossy looking motors that are in fact hiding all sorts of nasty repairs/problems if you know what to look for
