Hi all,

I am currently considering selling my GS to move to a GT sport. I would appreciate guidance on the price I should put the GS up for please. The car was a needed a little bit of tidying when I bought it but it is in pristine condition now inside and out.

First Registered 10/2004, Colour Blu Mediterrano, Miles: 67,000, interior full leather blue and light grey (replaced technocloth in 2015 http://www.sportsmaserati.co.uk/showthread.php/13713-Gransport-interior-retrim , powder coated shadow chrome wheels, forum x-pipe, comes with spare forum discs front and back, Maserati car cover, clutch done at 57,000. Car has a good spec, Full leather heated electric memory seats, Leather inserts on dashboard, Leather door cards, Electro-chromatic rear-view mirror, red coloured brake calipers, Rear parking sensors, Becker Auditorium 200, 19'' trofeo alloy wheels and Saetta badges on rear pillars. pretty much most things everything except Xenons.

Service history:

20/06/2005 - 2,726 miles - Maranello
26/09/2005 - 5,313 miles - Maranello
16/08/2007 - 15,058 miles - Maranello
11/03/2009 - 26,570 miles - Dick Lovett
04/03/2010 - 38,237 miles - Dick Lovett
23/03/2011 - 50,458 miles - Dick Lovett (Major Service), New Brakes & Disks
01/11/2013 - 57,556 miles - Dick Lovett (Interim Service, new clutch & heater matrix fitted)
19/11/2014 - 61,725 miles - Grimaldi Engineering (Interim Service)
20/11/2015 - 65,448 miles - Grimaldi Engineering (Major Service)

Car really is in great condition, replaces all worn buttons and chrome vents and put in a high end sat nav nav system. All good pzeros all round.

Looks lovely and wouldn't hang about long in that condition. £25k-£27k all day long, I'm probably under-pricing at the lower level, would be good to see what others think.

That really does look stunning. I can't comment on price but I don't think you will have any problems selling it. Good luck with the sale and with your GTS purchase shopping too

Look nice, I quite like that interior and obviously the exterior colour is my favourite. On current prices, it should sell easily at circa £27k but if your not in a rush trying the market a bit higher won't hurt.

MAFs on the money, given my recent experience.

Leather seats have a premium and the colour of interior and exterior are bang on. Clutch 8,000 miles ago is a good sign and should be about 30% worn.

I would suggest 26,500 and settle and 25,750

Lovely car. But this would be the highest mileage example on AT or PH. Every 10k of miles knocks about £2k off the price. I think £25k, maybe £26k for a private sale is realistic. Having said that, someone is trying to sell their 50k miles car on AT for £30k...but then there's a dealer selling a slightly lower mileage car for the same amount. Both have had 7 services. So who knows!

If you're in no hurry, though, you could start with £27k and hope that someone falls in love with it. We all know these cars look good in blue. The interior will divide opinion but I love it and would be coming to see it if I was still looking. Those in the know will appreciate the refurbed chrome vents and buttons, and it's had 9 services.

I've seen this car in the flesh and it really is absolutely stunning. Mr Hot is clearly a fastidious custodian of his GS.

I'd try advertising it at around the £27k mark as others have suggested. And I wouldn't let it go for any less than £25k. Looks great in the pictures.

That's really nice. Really nice.

However, I'd have to sell mine first. Not sure Alex would appreciate 2 Masers.

I think your car is in spectacular presentation and would question the need to change.
Hasn't there been GS owners who traded up to a GT, regretted it and return to the GS?
That service where the clutch was done and the heater must have cost a bomb.
Keep it I say.

Sometimes, no matter how good your car is, its a case of getting bored and wanting a change.
How many new owners openly say 'it's a keeper', then sell on quietly later...

Spot on, I think the GTS is a great car to move onto from the GS personally, different styling and a great modern car, probably the most perfect design out there right now IMO. The GS has started to look dated to me.

Lots of GT's around at the moment for sale. Limited GS's though. Saw a matt black GT today, and thought " Glad I've got a GS. It looked massive compared to mine.
