Won't run a petrol for the business when there is a diesel car with a petrol sound. It just doesn't make sense.

Really?

The Diesel I drove as a loaner for a week certainly didn't sound like the petrol one I have or indeed any petrol car I've had.

Quess it depends on real world economy figures and mileage per year. There certainly appears to be a lot of cars on the market the majority diesels... I assume end of lease and PCP deals.

Really? Given that there is only 10mpg between them in the real world and that the petrol holds value considerably better, you’d need to be doing north of 20k miles a year to make any saving. And you’d be running a diesel Maserati instead of a petrol one which is sacrilege to many!

There is running costs too. The Diesel lump is tried and tested and bullet proof and the V6 petrol not so much. It's all down to taste and for the hammering it will get diesel works for the business. Most who get in it won't have a clue.

despite being small in the rear.

This. I was quite shocked at how small it was in the rear seats.

It was actually smaller than the GTS. It was a real squeeze getting the baby seat in or a rear facing toddler and a decent position for the front seat.

Bizarre really how small it is in the back then as it isn't a small car. Where is all the space?

Me neither, but we only went 10 miles or so, I thought it was a nice place to be tbh.

It is nice. But I was just comparing to the actual leg room space. Which is less than it is in the GT.

Using the same baby seats I couldn’t fit them in without them hitting the front seat if I had the front seats set at the same position as in the GT.

So that test proved to me there is slightly less room than appears.
