No idea not looked at it. Have a look at Weddys post in the for sale section. He talks about it being treated in 2017. It had a massive £3,000 service at PK Supercars @75,000 miles. Now on 81,000

I was in this car today, it’s actually a decent car that just needs some loving. The bodywork requires addressing as Graham has mentioned and there are abs and Tpms faults which seem to point to a wheel hub for the abs and either a sensor or the computer for the tyres pressure system. Otherwise it drives well, sounds great.

For little money, someone could get a decent car here. They are always a project at this age but it’s silly cheap to reflect that.

If i had the time, I’d probably buy it but i don’t !

I'm guessing it's going to need probably another £4k to sort the body, the hub and hand brake?

Only if you bare metal respray it, which I wouldn’t. I think you’re talking £600-800 for the body and a grand for hub, hand brake and bits n pieces. You can spend that on any Maserati, as we all know, so it’s not major. In the end, it’s a cheap and very useable car that could be made better with some loving. The fundamentals seem strong, drove very well.

Thanks. I'm surprised the paint would be that cheap, but sometimes it looks worse. Sounds like a major bargain. I guess the subframe is the critical piece

Possibly. I believe there is a bill for rustproofing from 3 or 4 years ago but as it’s not been on a lift, that could have painted over a lovely condition frame, or.......

It does have a lot of history including a clutch etc so some of the other big ticket items are not a problem.

As I said, it’s an old Maserati. Decent history but needs some love. We all know that they can be massive bargains but that they can also swallow some cash.
