No but I had a butchers and like their style, particularly this.


Think CW have done similar (reclaimed) things in the past- fighter bomber rings a bell.

Unless you are really into the history or plane, I'd give it a pass for the premium to be paid, for a finger nail off cut of oxidised aluminium.

Done a bit more digging. The movement is Miyota cal. 9015 which is about $100. Same movement used in Marc and Sons (as an example) which sell for €300 ish

I like the look, but alot about watches, and anything mechanical for me, is how it feels. Wouldnt mind picking one up and having a butchers though

That said, I’ve just bought a watch (first one for years apart from Ones I’ve bought the Mrs) I’ve never seen.
Titanium, Wasn’t expensive at all and it’s a style I haven’t had before.

Fancied treating myself to something that if it disappoints, isn’t deadly.

With my eyesight heading the way it is I’m not sure I’ll be able to tell the time on it tho!

Yeah they put bits of planes and cars in their limited editions before. The C9 d type has metal from a piston of one of the original le mans race cars in it somewhere.
