Good point. I guess the only downside is that it would add an owner to the number of previous keepers.
True, but even the best cars often go through multiple owners anyway.

#4 enthusiasts owners or #1 footballer - you decide ;)

To be honest until I read this thread, I had no idea of the confiscation risk and would have definitely been in the danger zone on occasions ….

Just skimming through a discussion on Pistionheads on this. Trying to ignore the usual stupid comments, it seems important to have at least one spare driver with proof that they are insured to drive the car. If you get stopped at a speed that demands an immediate ban and no one else is immediately on hand to drive the car then it gets impounded and you don't see it for xx months and by then it will smell of fast food deliveries, be ragged or have mice living in it. Or all three.
Correct. Happened to me in 2014. Banned until Monday midday and 300 euro fine. 140 in a 90.

Enjoyed the collecting cars podcast where they suggested it was a Ferrari Sponsored Squirrel that kicked the Toyota out of the race, and that it was also mooted that Giovanni had a series of ever larger mammals to throw onto the track if Silvestro the squirrel was not successful.
