We pulled out a few weeks ago and now our whole group has decided too much uncertainty and too much risk so they have pulled out as well. Plans to have a meet up in Kent if the event goes ahead stay local, drink lots and watch the race on TV

The last of the private camping organisers have now also pulled out due to uncertainty and financial risk with getting catering and toilets and showers etc to site only for it to be pulled. The ACO sites are still planning to open from the Wednesday before the race

The French Govt have told the ACO that they may be instructed to run it behind closed doors or cancel completely at anytime up to
10 days before the event. The plan to keep fans in 5k zones in the circuit seems fraught with problems as the zones will mix around the circuit as soon as they get out the gates. With the increase in new cases in mainland Europe and the recinding of air corridors, this is looking less viable by the day.

Talking with my neighbor a Gendarme tells me it ain't gonna be happening this year.
We are most likely going to get locked down again in this region.
As I know more I will let you guys know.
On the plus side the Renault 14 Shelf of Matt's has proved very useful ;)

As the R rate rises in Europe, that is unfortunately, looking more and more likely.
Now we have to quarantine should you go to Belgium, France is next door with free movement all over Europe it's just a matter of time IMHO. :(

Watching it from here in France when we were locked down and had to have a written attestation to do anything outside of the house and couldn't travel more than 15 kilometres the rate of infection came down quickly.
We open up and now it's a Clusterfúck here.

This morning I dropped my car to have the roof PPF replaced at the same place that wraps the JMW Motorsport Ferrari (488, #66). As far as they're concerned, it's still all systems go.

This was due to be my very first Le Mans but the whole 'village' concept for spectators sounds rubbish (albeit inevitable under the current circumstances).

It really isn't what I was going for, so I am getting a refund on my ticket - maybe next year though, as I still really want to go :-(

Make sure you do, as its addictive normally. Nothing in the racing calendar like it and its more like Glastonbury with much better food and weather and cars as the music! Was due my 34th visit this year, and so obsessed I bought a property there too. Will probably be watching from the Hotel de France as that will be more relaxed and better atmosphere than the fan zones on site, assuming they don't run it behind closed doors or cancel at the last minute. Will keep everyone posted as Phil is doing too.

Great to know. I’ll be staying with you next year then!

My plan is still to go and if closed doors do the same and relax at the hotel.
