Our gites are all ready pre book although it looks as we may drop Waynes next year.

I am happy to do Bernay on the way down (its been a year and we miss it) then straight to the gites.

We then have the option of staying 4 days and leaving straight from the track to a hotel mid way on the way back (or Samur) or we can stay 5 days at the gites and go back as usual.

I favour 4 days (its enough) then doing a hotel to make it a bit different. Cherbourg is very nice so that would mean we get a full day and no rushing about.

The beaches up there are amazing.
Sounds like a plan matt

Matty, I like that plan. Bernay is a great stop and a more leisurely return would be good. Just need to make sure that wherever we stop on the Sunday is open; France on Sunday doesn’t get up to much.

Yes see him every year
Is that the Hotel de France you are in? I own the property directly across the square from there and Derek stays there most 24H and Classics. He is one of the few that are allocated a room, and after years of trying without luck, that’s why I bought the rental apartment opposite. Guaranteed to get to mingle with the racing stars now

I’ll be getting the planning fully underway next week, need to get numbers and gites filled plus I’ve got a fair few grand sitting on a credit card for the ferries.

So it would be nice to have some new forum faces and we have spaces as 6 or so regulars are doing the classics this year.

If you love your Maserati and have been thinking about it you really should give this one a go.

The recipe is always the same, 6 days of petrolhead heaven in a stunning setting.

This year we will be going Pompey/Cherbourg, one night in Bernay then head to the gites, chill and get involved in all the activities.

So, don’t put it off, get your name down.

Yup what's the damage so far, don't leave it on your credit card accrui interest.
Is the loose plan,; ferry, pillage French Village on night one, drive to gites, get drunk again, watch some cars drive in circles over the weekend and then drive back?
