What's the fine for 162mph?

Asking for a friend...
I have seen ref to fines of up to €750 on one site and €1500 on another for speeds +50 kph over the limit, both mention confiscation of cars (but we are back home now, so no worries on that score).

Its a fact of life over here if you use the tolls as we don't pay road tax.
If I want to get somewhere quickly and stress free you use them.
Best journeys though are on the National roads.

Mine was £67.00 but I did pay one manually so similar to Marks really.

Still holding my breath over speeding fine dropping through the door.

My toll bill is £85 but then I came all the way from Zeebrugge. Gone up a bit in the last couple of years though.

I drive to my place in La Chartre near Le Mans from UK most months. If taking the tunnel from Calais and using A28 most of the way there and back, about €60 is typical.

Much less if you come from Le Havre or Cherbourg at about €30 and if you use St Malo and a few N roads vs the motorway you can do it in abt 2.5 hours and no tolls. Ferry is not cheap during race weeks however so it's swings and roundabouts.

Is it not about time this moved to Le Mans 2020, our planning is almost complete but we have taken a different approach this year
