Well what started as rain turned out a good day. Was great to catch up with old faces, no offence lol, the Maseratis looked great, as did everything else that braved the initial rain. :)

great footage David-

by the time I was on-board with the camera; the Levante had pulled away; interesting to see one in attendance in fact; not sure I've seen one at any kind of meetup before (in Scotland); was it anyone from on here?

Well put Allan- it was indeed lovely to speak to yourself & everyone again.

Turned into a great day. Weather was trying it's best, great to see everyone / meet some new faces and talk as car geeks for a day, and we should organise something again soon.

My car was running better on the way home, sometimes fine, sometimes it's like it's misfiring above approx. 4k revs. I'll have to get it out on a proper, non-motorway based run.

well put, Chris-

maybe we should try for another afternoon meetup, like a couple of years ago...?

Or how about that event up near Stewart; in Granton on Spey..?

Can't remember what it was now cough -Stewart..?

Which Stewart? There are a lot of us around. :)
Motormania is first Sunday in September.
Got an email from them the other week. Entries being done online now. Clamping down on the Focus ST and Subaru brigades with the boom boxes and spoilers. Anything newer than 2000 ( I think) has to be of special interest to be allowed in. There have been loads of complaints about the hot hatch guys taking over and being too noisy and frankly of little interest to the people going there.
A Maserati should be fine I reckon. Maybe don't mention the exhaust. lol

Yes, its anything newer than 2000 for Motormania this year. I was going to give it a miss this year as I've been there for the last 2 years but if there's a good Maserati turnout I'll go along, if they deem my car of special interest!

Interesting- thanks for that; perhaps if that's the same event; maybe it's not such a good idea after all!

It was 'Stewart'-Stewart, from Kingussie (apologies Stewart-from-Tain!)

I thought I'd seen pictures of Integrales and suchlike- it looked like it was in my interest-zone...

Are they saying they won't accept despite the page saying they will consider?
Friend of mine attends this and several other rallies in his 360 and has done for years. I have found Grantown to not have the best IT skills when applying. Usual long delays.
I still think likes of our cars will get in ok. The plethora of hot hatches has taken up a lot of space at the event and they are the target here.

I believe the 05 plate silver manual 4200 is now for sale.
Understand suspension sorted and has Larini pipes.
