Hum, unleashes her inner ‘Patsy’

So my mother turned 75 today. Loves the royals. Was down at her earlier and logged her into my Netflix so she can watch the crown. Brownie points scored.

However she proceeds to tell me, and I’ve never heard this at all, about Mrs Lumley, a child kept on the QT and a Prince Philip rumour. Who knew?

I don’t think the child is a rumour, I thought I read an interview with here ages ago that said she had a child in the 60’s. The Prince P thing sounds like b0II0x to me though.

I have met her, albeit briefly, and she was a fine woman. Grace and elegance but humble and caring as well. A nice combo.

My GFs previous fella was the equerry to HM Queen for a number of years, she is also best friends with the family of the Vicar for the Royal house hold at Windsor Castle after growing up with their daughters...She tells me most of the 'Crown' is made up drivvel for the US market and bored granny's and the only bits that have any truth are what was reported in the day.

PS I have no idea how she ended up with me, a norther numpty from the poor end of town... Still nice to have a bit of posh totty.

I was flicking through some tiktoks

Graham Norton red chair , a woman told a story about her blind son meeting the Queen and Prince Philip

The Queen asked him how much sight he had left

Before he could answer Prince Philip said

"looking at that tie, not much"
