I hesitate to post this, but I will...

is this thread in a parallel universe and you’ve all travelled back in time to the late 80’s? Do we need a subset of the forum where we can put all sexist, misogynistic threads?

** not being funny, and I don’t really like being the boring ******* that raises it, but I occasionally read the forum while I’m sat with my family, and if my daughter or wife saw this thread, I’d feel embarrassed...*

Anybody commenting or even clicking agree is viewing the thread , don't view it if it offends you, problem solved.

Jon I for one hear it hat you’re saying. But the flip side is it is a car forum with the blokey banter that goes with it. No one has posted nudity or offensive material and the majority seem to be ok with it:


if you are embarrassed by this thread or others similar (does the Jenny thread also offend you?) then it simply is a case of say nothing and don’t open it.
If you never open it you’re oblivious to the content.
I’ve seen similar posts to yours and it’s that psychology that because Any that don’t take that view are some what pathetic or less intelligent or something, magnified by saying things like you’d be embarrassed by our behaviour?

100% not meaning the above to be confrontational. It’s a clean thread, a bit of banter, it really isn’t all that bad. I’m fairly certain, and I say in jest and truth, but if I travelled over to mumsnet I’d find all manor or ‘female banter’ about all types of things
