Clucking bell! Pretty sure that’s the sound a piglet makes with its knackers trapped in a rust gate.

Ah well we had a decent stint at the ICE. Got a few years left until we’re all forced by law into scale electrix cars

Have a look at Harry Metcalfe's review of the iPace. I certainly shan't next buying an all-electric car while the infrastructure isn't ready for it. Tesla seems to have a decent infrastructure, but we need more than just one viable option.

Hyundai now has a hydrogen fuel-cell powered car, but again the refuelling infrastructure is limited.

Petrol is fine. School run diesel SUVs chuck out more shite than any GTS owner.

And that's the point, whilst many cars have halved their fuel consumption from 30mpg (Rover 214Sli) to 60mpg ( Seat Leon 1.4) in twenty years. SUVs are being sold more doing short runs chucking out poison that their kids breathe. Counter-productive parenting?

That I think is the all electric power train for 2021. The new car is still mooted to be revealed May of this year.

Caved in and watched it. Sounds like an effect from Tron, which is not, inherently a bad thing, but not going to be like that on the road.

Also, surely it's a motor, not an engine? Zep will know

Gets my goat.

Cars are seen as the evil source of the coming apocalypse.

What about;
Aircraft
Shipping
Coal and gas fired power stations
All these rockets Munks keeps sending up
Cheep disposable plastic tat... etc etc

No the motorist is an easy hit and scape goat.

MMXX is the May launch of 'something', this MMXXI is pointing towards a 'full on' electric vehicle.

My biggest concern is life/cost of batteries and disposal of them... battery leasing options are coming to ease the first concern... but...

I could have seen a way forward for hydrogen power, but all the investment has been in electric cars over the last few years... who has been pushing that I wonder?
