How I got sucked back in to rat race that quickly again is like a blur just happened so quickly.
Enjoy your Saturday all and Newton I hope all goes well for you mate.

Debdale Park, Denton, Manchester 1975. A very young MLC went to the park with his elder brother (11years senior) . Played on swings, slide etc but when it came to the 'rocking horse' thing, Chris suggest I'd sit on the back as it gave the best ride. He got a bit carried pushing it back and forth and I fell off the back and landed on my head. (Which probably explains a lot). A rub of the head and a tube of Smarties later and all was well.

Good morning, a curry awaits me in Didsbury with above brother this evening so a long drive beforehand...but first bacon and eggs and a massive brew...

Enjoy your weekends

Morning all, sorting out some tech this morning as Jamie has totally screwed his iPad factory reset and restore from previous backup then.

Good news from hospital yesterday, both arms healed just need yearly checks on the right one to ensure no longer term effects with blood flow to the top of the bone.

Morning. Youngest's first driving test today, 50/50 she will pass. She just accelerates too fast, dunno where she got that from?

Possible new pub transport option???
You'll have to pony up the wheels and insurance first. Cabs might be cheaper...

Well it wasn’t a MRI, it was a Doppler ultrasound; fascinating and the radiographer really talked it through, it turns out I have very unusual plumbing in my left leg, I’ve had varicose viens on that side for many years but recently they are leading to varicose eczema. So it’s time to get it sorted out.

Good...er, yikes. I think we need an "Ailments and Procedures" thread, stat! This place is looking like the triage ward in a M*A*S*H unit! This is why I just don't go to doctors until I'm on the edge of death...well, that and our healthcare system in Leftpondia. Getting the 27 year old with Down in a bit to get him out and about with 7 and 12 and Courtney. Shopping, early dinner, who knows what.

Lively driving of the wife's Stelvio will be part of the equation, as 12 has deemed the truck "too dull." She went from not being to identify a marque to being mad that we couldn't take the Coupe today as there will be a total of five in the cabin. I will succeed at making her a total gearhead...! That said, Phil, never heard of Toyotas as a gateway drug, before...glad you are kicking the habit. Soon as I win the lottery, I will be joining you.

The screw convo reminds me of when I was driving, and complained of something being wrong with the car. The chief replied that the only issue was the loose screw between the seat and the steering wheel. Make of that what you will...

Hope everyone is well (enough) and well-sorted...!
