Some outlets are just taking the Mickey. The units I bought are not worth 3 figures, finding an outlet that traded in seconds because the box is damaged is worth it. Even factoring in travelling to Bolton and Sunday lunch with my mum as a bonus.
You have pushed my buttons now ,and got me all anxious , my conservatory and garage extention 10 tonne loads of concrete at a £1000 a pop , 90 percent of the stuff is free and comes from the seabed fcs , not to mention just been quoted £8K for labour to lay my porcelein patio and ive prepped and levelled it ............headshaking

Good morning, all! Phil and Mark...I will have to work until I'm dead, unless I hit the lottery. Which is why I just live for today and spend indiscriminately! But if you have an option, it seems like there's probably a better way...! Please take care of yourselves, all...before it races around to come up behind you again!

First in-person at 10a; last at 18:00. Then a +/- 4 day weekend (client meeting on Sunday, sigh)...!

Morning all , yeah definitely time to take the world at a slower pace Phil and Nibby , ageing didnt creep up on me , it kinda leapt on my back it seems all of a sudden, seems one minute I had no problem walking 10-20 miles across dessert of jungle terrain searching for the yellow stuff ,Jumping in and out of diggers and servicing washplants , found after the last leave that it just made me tired each day earlier and earlier almost to the degree i was doing half days ,its a sign and something to be heeded or pay the consequences ,the extra buck just isnt worth a heart attack. Back out next month for my very last final stint and official company handover.
Phil there will always be another motor to fix at your leisure on home turf

Ha; I definitely make many more old man noises now than I did a year ago!

Well I have done it and to be fair they were very good about it knowing what we're doing is an absolute dogs dinner of a job to do.
Honesty the Best policy.
Drive home tomorrow.

Good morning everyone a long 7 hour drive ahead but boy am I looking forward to it.
Big Lesson learned this week that there is far more to life than Work and I'm really looking forward to getting back on with my own projects.
Enjoy your Friday all.

Ahh the flaws of capitalism. Be safe on the roads, sir.

PT shortly then WFH and with service review of one of the big 4. Which will be fun.

Keep waking up feeling like I've got a hangover. Wouldn't mind so much if I'd been bloody drinking.

Have a good one, all

Cheers Chris no rush for me that's for sure.
Through work this year I've done dry January and now half way to doing February and like you wake up with a hangover head maybe it's detoxification.

Drive safe Phil, ive learnt this past year why men getting towards or past their sell by date are grumpy and always cussing, its frustration they are unable to do the things they once considered easy ....and took for granted

Morning out there all

Morning all, half day today as I have a hospital check up on the arms and it's a bit chuffing blowy out there that sort of wind you only get near the coast and we're 5 miles inland

Morning everyone!
So, if one makes what were once sex noises when getting out of a chair when old, does that mean that getting up becomes that exciting when it's from making it to vertical no matter how that is achieved?
Eggs Benedict just polished off in the Malmaison Dundee. Lovely day with the sun coming up over the Tay Road Bridge, over which I ran my 5k yesterday.
Conference day today and then off to Edinburgh for the evening.
HapPea Friday! xXx

Morning all, accomplished the refitting of both slides yesterday which was no mean feat at all!

Bonded the new legs in with filled fibreglass resin, worked very well indeed. They should be good for another 30-years now.

Totally exhausted last night and have allowed myself a lay in. Back up to London in a bit, Highgate, Bushy and then north Kent for some inspections.

Have fun all…
