Good start to the day of yesterday's letdown. First viewers made an offer £5k above asking price for the house. Two more viewings today. Maybe the move to Goodwood is back on!
Not steering (I'd be dead) or callipers (don't think RAC does repaint, unless orange).
Since you ask (kinda) I drove slowly and carefully over a small branch in the middle of the road, which in a Steve Irwin's ray kinda way jumped up and wedged itself amongst the gear selector rods.
RAC said it was one in a million bad luck, and not as bad as the call where it was a whole badger wedged under a Mercedes.

How long did it take the RAC to turn out, diagnose and fix?
I was on my way to a 'works outing' to shoot (at) some clays, and was fortunate to be able to limp into the shooting centre just as the gear selection complely gave up. The RAC was outstanding - on site in about 15 mins and cheerfully fixed in 10.
Cycling back from France I had about a dozen (plus all shoes/clothes etc I'd taken for a week's holiday!!). So I'm guessing loads! How many bottles can a bicycle carry?
Even if it gets wedged some somewhere it shouldn’t?The moral here is that wood in the morning isn’t always good
Just had to Google that and forgot you had a Tractor in your collection. My 1968 Lambo R340 is off for restoration this morning. Needs a good service, some repairs and a repaint.

I noticed on the internet that a similar one had sold at the Bonhams auction at Goodwood last year for strong money (enough to buy a Maserati) so I’ve decided it’s worth me showing mine some TLC.Just had to Google that and forgot you had a Tractor in your collection.
