LOTUS ......On a different story and because I know a lots on here have had Lotus. Big news and brave for the Lotus to stop production of the Elise, Exige and Evora This year. They will be replaced with one TYPE 131 which will to cover all the range. Elise saved the company and as someone who has had 5 of them in my time for me one of the best involving drivers cars ever... I’m sure the new cars will have the DNA. Very interesting times at Lotus and I’m an excited to see what’s comes out of Hethel.

Good Morning Everyone, Good morning Andy. Thanks for brightening up a dull Tuesday already. Readfin between the lines those lotus engines will probably be Renault/Nissan derived if they have an Alpine link up. Just hope that they don't go chasing Horsepower and keep things sensible. An Aluminium chassis will be light enough not too need a big output.

I have done an hour of Personal Training every week for 3 years, with a fair bit over Zoom last year. But can't find the motivation to start this year. All that jumping about seems a bit pointless.
It’s never pointless, stick at it.

Morning Gentlemen and a Big Well Done to @Andyk for doing that with the snacks.
Fresh here but already got the fire roaring away.
Stay Safe all.

There was another piece last week. The car will not be the Renault Alpine share that was expected but a new car. Engines will be combustion and possibly as you say a shared engine. The range will go for 55k to 105k so covers everything from the Alpine to the 911. Exciting times.

It's a tough audience, if the Alpine is pitched against the Cayman/Boxter then Lotus might be up against the mighty 911. Their customers are very conservative and won't move unless it's reliable, well spec'd and well built.

Any, good job on the charity work, mate. Good onya.

Morning, all. Glorious sunrise this morning, but I'm now squirrelled away in my office waiting for the day to start. All day workshoppy type thing today. In normal times I'd have had it somewhere else, abroad, with hotel and beer and food and wine and merriment. On balance I quite like not having had to travel, but I do look forward to spending the day with people face to face instead of screen to screen, speaker to mic.

Jave a good xxxday, all.

Morning all, last couple of days I have felt the SAD cloud lifting from me a little, difficult to say if the lamp has helped but it seems to correlate nicely. I’m still lacking mojo but at least I’m not reduced to sobbing.

Hackney today making replacement ropes on a unit.

Have fun all...

Morning all, today is the day we rip the brakes out of the Fulvia to find out why they have been binding on the offside, new discs and pads at the ready just hope its not a master cylinder issue as I don't have a spare but easy to get from the EU if needed, €220 exchange or €350 new, rebuild kits for €75 but that never seems a good way to go.

Morning all. A morning of Teams calls, followed by getting on the bike this afternoon for Stage 5 of the Tour de Zwift. Only 26.5 miles so should be fairly easy.

Hopefully will be able to leave work early, especially as I'm on the road tomorrow doing site surveys.
