Morning, all. Stuff to do, which is nice.

Has anyone else noticed that this once-proud car forum seems to handed itself over to being a meeting place for middle-aged men slobbering over photos of women?

No slobbering over the Agutter from me just admiration for a beautiful English rose. But yes there are some dubious slobbering on the other thread.

Good Morning everyone, MOT pass with no advisories. In work today now scratching round for things to do but procrastinating on some investigations so I might as well clear them today.

Morning all. Loads to do, first job of the day was to put Joseph's new Maser in the car to take home for his birthday on Sunday.
Wish there were toys like that when I was a kid!

Then back to the grindstone!

Morning Phil, morning all.......Early trip to Supermarket for me....If I get down there at 7:30 should be in and out. Day one of Welsh two week lock down. Yesterday had an email from Dans school to say all of his year has to self isolate for 14 days as a student has tested positive. No one he has come in contact with. Not that 14 days will make a difference to Dan as Wales is in a two week lock down anyway.

Our high school have had a few positive cases in our daughters year 11. They have records where the kids sit in class, and therefore those who sit next to the positive case have to isolate for 2 weeks, not the whole year group. Your school aren't managing the situation very well just sending the whole year group home!

Story is repeated over and over I fear :(

Morning all. Exercise bike session with Mrs C shortly, then two Christmas puddings to steam, two more to make later today.
Zoom 50th birthday for one of my oldest friends later.

Have a good one, all

C

Morning all, looking at the weather it will be a family inside day - I can see another jigsaw coming out, quality and then a family pizza and film night

Morning all. Mrs simon1963’s garden room (named The Cow Shed) is finally finished so we can move all here stuff out of the garage and I can have it back. Next job is to insulate and board out the garage.

....but, but.... It's not Bin Day!

‘Tis no reason to not procure a sacred vessel within which to store the offerings in preparation for the Holy Day of St Bin’s coming. An Ark of the Covenant, but with different relics. I’m sure Matt will report back on "the golden bin that has potato peelings, and a yoghurt pot, and the wrapper for tablets of the headache."

Morning, all. Some scrambling around in the attic today to sort out wiring for a new landing light. Foul language will needed, almost certainly. Last night we watched Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, and it was excellent.

Our peelings bin doth verily overflow! I shall at once commence a pilgrimage to the altar of compost dedicated to St. Bin...

Was the Holy Ark of the Peelings carried by the Fordites as they did wander across the mighty lands of London and Essex for forty years? Oh, the ancient relics that surely must be stored within!

Yep whole year group. Yesterday was the day they told us but he was off anyway as it was an inset day and next week half term and the following week still in Welsh lockdown so to be honest it has not effect Dan being off school as he is anyway.
