Morning all, air con unit is still noisy but so worthwhile. Dogupdate his ‘hole’ from the abscess is shrinking daily but still visible, the skin around it is forming again at last, today is the first time you could call it skin! He is on the mend though. I’m out on repairs today and later a kayak session , I’m hoping the intercostals are up to it. I’ve signs up for a longer paddle on 31st of 18 miles so building it up.

Have fun all...

Morning all from a very wet Ballots. A night of thunder and lightning with torrential rain which will get the grass growing again.
Feeling tired entertaining the family visitors and eating/drinking too much.
Stay Safe all it's still about and rising rapidly here in Europe.

Hello everyone!
All misty again today. Hopefully it'll clear. I fancy flying a kite.
HapPea Wednesday!

Mist cleared here, spooky I just pulled our kites out of the storage box so that we can take them with us on a holiday further down the coast, a little cottage where we can walk onto a really quiet open beach perfect for flying kites

Pretty annoyed after all this good weather it's raining all weekend.

Festival Italia was meant to be my first car event since Feb. That's looking unlikely unless the weather forecast significantly changes.

Fingers crossed

Good morning, SM fiends. The cool, damp air that blew in off the sea last night was a godsend. It's starting a bit cooler again today, but still perfect for a coffee outside and a slow wake-up. I'd planned to get across to the Ace this afternoon but now have a work commitment which could be very dull but too lucrative to turn down, so sadly I'll need to bail from a very long-overdue natter with mates. In fact, the last time I went out was The Ace. Feb / March?

Have a good Thursday, everyone.

Morning all, aching now from a kayak session last evening. Today I am mostly working in schools in Hertfordshire, May or may not have a mini meet at Ace later but numbers are looking weak.

Have fun all...

Morning all. WFH looking after Joseph again this morning.

Didn't give my armful (or 2) of plasma as it was over 28 degrees. Apparently the machine doesn't work at temps higher (it was 31).
However, I did give blood for the antibody test so will know in 7-10 days whether I have had Covid for certain.
Although the nurses there did say after describing my symptoms that if I didn't have it, there is something just as nasty out there!

They're convinced. Only time will tell.

Well Alex got his notification for his B Eng (Hons) today and got a 1st which is Fantastic. His fiancée got a 1st too in architecture... I’m sure they will have beautiful and intelligent children some day too...

Awesome results for both.

Another engineer in the world is always a good thing. Not so sure about the crayon jockey though.
