Morning all, a couple of site visits today and then admin. Dog was distressed last evening and didn’t settle till about 4 this morning when he cleared his blockage and then drank two bowls of water, a problem of his own imagining the daft mutt! Also Christine is heading back to Guisborough in a bit.

Have fun all...

Morning, you 'orrible lot. It's going to be a hot one today as well (unlike SIlvercat's house). I collected the Vantage with its freshly repolished and PPF'd roof and am very pleased with the job. It'll need leaving unmolested for a week to fully dry and then I'll slosh some Hydro Slick and a layer of R222 to give it some protection from the elements (and the birds). I'm a huge fan of PPF. £200 to protect a deliciously well-painted deep gloss black roof panel from the slings, arrows and shite that falls from the sky is money well spent.

A bit of chasing around today and I'll set aside an hour to focus on one particular project which is going to start getting busy over the next few weeks. In general I intend to make the most of this free time while I still have it.

Morning all. Office and a conference call with the US at 5pm :baffle:

Although I now have to nip home as I've just had a call from Alex, Joseph's slide has been delivered, can I come home and put it together.
I didn't even know we'd ordered one.......

Of course you did, you talked about it at the weekend, you even discussed the colour ;)

Ceramics? That's a bloody meticulous cleaner you've got if she'll be willing to have a stab at getting a shine on your farmers!

Some of you know that the last few months I have been in consultation with our Ebbw Vale depot with a view to shut it. Not great times but we then decided to leave it as an out base saving 13 jobs. As it is though we have warehouse space to rent out and it looks like we may have secured a tenant.....None other than Aston Martin as they need an overspill depot for the new St Athan plant. Fingers crossed this will get me closer to the marque.....Very excited.

Nice! That'd be the new SUV thingy that they're building at St Athan, I guess, Andy. I quite like them (but neither want nor need an SUV).

Yes it is.....Aston Martin build the cars...DHL supply the parts for the production line. Currently can't build then quick enough......We will store parts and ship them over each night. Ebbw Vale is a straight place for them to go though as I bet in a few weeks you will see Vauxhal Nova's running around the valleys with Aston Martin steering wheels and gear knobs.

Morning, a weekend off to chill, drinks/bbq Saturday night with local friends...at their house not ours so no clearing up and no cooking.

Strad needs a clean and a little ‘test run’ I suspect.

Due great weather, enjoy all.

Morning, you beasts of the roads. Another day with the curtains closed to keep the heat out. It feels so counter-intuitive!

Today I have a call at 9, which I hope will be fruitful, and have planned on trying to get a coat of R222 on the Vantage. It's looking pretty bloody good for its couple of coats of Hydro Slock, so something to really give it that gorgeous wet depth will be good. I hope to thank @Heavenly for his waxy recommendation later.

We have some people around for drinks this evening, and the joyful thing about being limited to staying outside is that I need to do little more than shoo away all the spiders that think they need to build webs anywhere they bloody well please. Which mostly seems to be anywhere people want be. It's getting to the point where I need to start referring to large chunks of my garden as 'the occupied territories'. Perhaps the spiders feel the same way. "Eesh, those bloody people in my house!"
