Hello everyone!
Congratulations to Jeannette! Huzzah that MLC's bike is getting there. Shame about the mag.
I had a first go at making enriched soft baps yesterday so my lunch has just been very tasty sandwich of salmon in baps.
Some more stuff for kitchen work has arrived so I'll have a go at tidying up the kick-boards.
HapPea Friday!

Having found my new favourite MOT centre, a while back I noted he has a small second hand dealership next door and said to him, could he keep an eye out for that ‘little old lady’s car, you know the unicorn top speck small car that is ancient but has only ever been to the super market and cribbage club once a week... Looking to find a replacement for the Aygo that is close to rolling over 140k.

Today at the unit loading up and he spots me and said “Oh that one owner car you said you would be interested in, this just came in one owner,26k mileage, we just serviced and MOT’d it and it is perfect”. A silver 208, I thanked him for thinking of me and took a look, immediately I thought how dull the paintwork was on the rear wing, no all over!!!! A crappy masking line on the roof across the boot shut, the boot lid over the window had been missed about an inch out right across to reveal a white boot lid!!! Eeeer; I’ll pass on this one thanks. What a heap!

Morning peeps, anyone else spent 2 hours plotting to kill those chirping birds......

Mrs C's cat has been doing it for weeks. Fortunately he's a thick as a very thick thing indeed. Sits on the bedroom window sill watching them on the feeder, then runs downstairs to the glass backdoor to try and get out, then back up to the window sill. And so the cycle repeats.

Morning. Were going to have a garden party with some neighbours, but the weather is looking poor so a nice quiet one with Mrs C this evening.

Have a great day, all

C

Morning all, topping off the infill on the drive today to reverse 12 years of damage ahead of the bound surface going on in the next few weeks.

Have fun all...

Morning All,
Well the booze worked however my back is still in rag order.
I need the chiropractor to straighten me up.
Week off and too much to do, going to be swallowing a lot of pain killers...
Have a good day,
Dave

Down to the gym today, just the two of us and our instructor... Need to move some lard.

PAS cooler arrived yesterday so need to send on to Matt and Co at Sports Italia.

Drizzle here on the edge of the Cotswolds way so this PM will be drafting planning permissions for some building work and passport renewal.

Morning, chums. Finally took the Vantage out for a squirt up the coast yesterday. God, I love that car. As Mrs Crud was in the co-pilot’s seat it was a sedate affair, but the car was an absolute joy, optically and aurally. Disappointingly, our usual haunts were jammed so we mostly stayed off the beaten tracks. It did make us think that the reality of taking a holiday in the UK might just be an over-crowded misery.

Today will involve fixing some floorboards and, by happy coincidence, some dodgy wiring underneath them. More importantly, I’ve bought some Chemical Guys Hydro Slick Ceramic Coating Hyperwax, which I’m keen to try.

Have a good Saturday, all.

Up to York for the weekend.

Train is so quick it again makes me question why we're bothering with HS2.

Enjoying getting back to travelling around.

Mad isn’t it Ross; no one up North complains about links to London. We all complain about East West links. It is 80 miles from me to Holyhead, 2h10, it’s 220 to London, 2h5!!!

Afternoon all. After my bike fit yesterday I've spent a hour this morning getting my trainer bike set up the same as my road bike.

Hopefully no more knee pain.

Seriously recommend a bike fit to anyone who does anything more than a few miles on their bike.
