Today Mrs Scaf and I celebrate 34years of marriage - like most we have lived through difficult times including serious health issues, redundancy and spiralling mortgage interest rates causing financial hardship, but we have had good times as well and can now enjoy the fruits of my labour ;) but most of all we have three lovely children (the fruits of my wife’s labour ;) ) all fit and healthy and well in their way to making their own way in life and making me proud every day

Well done, Sam. Living the dream, avoiding falling down the holes. Well, mostly.

Returning to some sort of normality work wise. One and a half days writing, rest of the week shooting/travelling to shoots. Peterborough to Maidenhead to Wales to Derbyshire to Peterborough to Maidenhead to Guildford to Peterborough over this week.
Get to drive one of my dream cars (an SZ) and might see if I can squeeze myself into an Elise.
I might be more successful with that as over the weekend I managed to fit into a 1XL H&M shirt, which seeing as I was 5/6XL a year and a half ago and could never shop on the high street for clothes is quite something.
Also, huge day tomorrow career-wise. It’s going to be an odd week...

Morning all, no work and the boy goes back to school - due to his condition we will only tell him this morning suspect you will hear the cheers of excitement from the UK

What a week! Good luck tomorrow.

Andy, good luck to Zag minor on his big day.

It's also a big day here: St Bin's Day Eve. We're an observant family and always treat this day with due reverence. I especially enjoy the tradition of leaving the box of rotting food waste at the end of the drive and, by morning tomorrow, St Bin will have been around and eaten it. My childish delight in seeing it all gone will never wane.

Other than that, it's a day of graft.

Morning all, got straight on it early doors and have just popped my head up for fresh air! Admin mostly today with invoices to deliver and reports to write up. Off out to site following an accident at a skate park over the weekend that we inspect!

Have fun all...

Morning all (just), first day back in the office and I spent over an hour of it in the car park still on a call!
Very worth while hopefully.

A few bits and bobs to be getting on with. And have pointed out to the office managers that Bourbons although good, are not quite chocolate digestives or chocolate chip cookies. So they need to up their game on the biscuit front.

Might have a ride of the bike this afternoon as long as it's not too windy!

Important that you are setting standards with biscuits, we once had as part of a supplier selection process a weighting agains the lunches they provided during requirement gathering workshops. The supplier who just dumped a load of Tesco sandwiches still in wrapping scored much less than the the one who had Dominos deliver a range of pizza, pasta & garlic bread

It's actually quite useful to see aircraft on the screens, proves that it's working correctly. You get worried when you know there's 'targets' out there but not on the screen.

Oh. You mean you don't play the air-traffic equivalent of blindman's buff to help while away the long afternoons?

St Bin's Day! I'm #soexcited. I couldn't sleep. St Bin hasn't been around yet - I just checked on the cameras and his gifts are still at the end of the drive, right where I left them. I might keep looking to see if I actually see him. I always imagine him in the traditional way - riding in a huge metal monster, looking a bit scruffy and probably hasn't shaved, sturdy boots and a hi-viz vest, not very jolly. Almost exactly unlike his nemesis, St Nicholas.

Other than that, today is my wedding anniversary again and, by a bizarre coincidence, Mrs Crud's as well.
