Morning all......So we have few drivers picking up ventilators and delivering to hospitals....from McLaren...Shame we aren't aloud to put driver mates in the cab as I would go along....
Might be worth making contact with 'Airbus Advanced Manufacturing' at Broughton nr.Chester' who part of the same industry consortiim as McClaren. They have started to build ventilators in large volumes now so may be looking for help with distribution.

Bit of gardening, decking to pressure wash, downpipe to replace on the Pinin, which I collected before the restrictions 2 weeks ago.
Mrs has decided to fresh up the walls inside the house with spare emulsion.
Basically anything to put your mind off covid-19!

Morning everyone!

My first day of being unemployed today after just over 8 years with the last company.
Oh, am I relieved! This last week was really emotionally draining because of it, so today I'm leaving unplanned.

I can take some time off for myself now. Of course the plague means I'll not be jumping on a plane to somewhere fun but I sincerely feel I'm placed without work in the current crisis in order that I can find ways to serve the local community as I have the privilege of time, health and solvency. More on that as those options develop.

HapPea Saturday!

Car cleaning this morning before the sun comes around. They’ll look shiny sat on the drive not going anywhere then.

Morning folks. Something's wrong with me, as on Tuesday i got back from work at 1am, yesterday at 9pm. Told me that on weekend i would stay at home and relax, but...guess what, i'm at my office again. Please someone lock me inside, and throw away the keys..
Hope everyone is fine here and have a nice -and relaxing- weekend.

Morning all, need to get out today so will take the dog for a walk on the beach and let the kids run off some energy.

Otherwise a few car jobs, remove spotlights from Fulvia, get Giulietta out of winter store and sort the brake pedal switch. Need to decide if I am going to put them both through the Irish registration system once the NCT (MOT) stations re-open. In theory I am not allowed to drive UK registered vehicles here as I am now classed as a resident but in practise the only people who care are the revenue but there is no revenue for them to grab on classics so they tend to leave them alone.

Yesterday some Autoglym goodies arrived as a freebie with a subscription to Octane magazine. Will experiment on Porsche this afternoon after my bike ride.

When you say unemployed do you mean “unemployed” or furloughed, either way I wish you well.
There are ways for an employer to take staff who have just left and new job has fallen through back on and then Furlough them, same principle for redundancy.
Best of luck, stay safe
