Morning all....been awake since 2:30....Not sure what's up with me lately.
Think its a mind/body reaction Andy , when your mind goes into a focused relentless overdrive through stress to cope with what is an extremely tense situation , now that the pressure is off your mind body click is all over the place , don't be surprised if soon you feel the need to sleep for a week , Take good care of your self mate , there are many out there that really appreciate all you have done and continue to do ,Kudos mate

Morning Andy and Loz.
To the rest of the crew as you wake up.
The Recycling team have been this morning which is pleasing as we fill that far more than the Refuse bin.
Stay Safe all.

Morning all. Last day at Experian for me. Will be a quiet one.

That'll be a really pants leaving do, Chris. Well, good luck on the outside!

This morning it took me a while to work out what day it might be. Having realised that yesterday was a working day, I knew it couldn't be Sunday or Monday, and I remembered that the day before yesterday hadn't been a working day. Tuesday it is! Happily, there are enough recurring meetings in my diary that the week has some kind of structure, but it's mot much.

In other 'news', the fecking starlings are back and the 617 Squadron of Rooks are in full incontinence mode. I've ordered some Bird Free Fire Gel from Amazon and hope to get it installed in the right locations at the weekend to defer the filthy little bastards. Does anyone have any other good tips for deterring birds? The obvious suggestion to take up arms against our oppressors might not work well on account of being in a village.

We've got pidgeons with prodigous rear ends taking it in turns to cr4p from the same point on the same tree branch leaving an unholy mess on our path. Wish I still had my slingshot which i bought via an ad from the back of some comic back in the 70s! That would give hem something else to think about!

If that Fire Gel stuff works I shall be ordering more, and setting about deterring them from using a quiet and sheltered corner of the garden as a toilet. I like pigeons, but they are birds of limited manners and respect for where we like to sit to while away lazy late afternoons.

Some of the hotels I work with use a variety of methods, from the usual fake owl/eagle (delete as applicable) to using a device that sends out ultrasonic clicks which birds hate.
The most successful one, is relatively inexpensive as well. Basically is one of those kite type things on a stick. Basically as it's continuously moving (as long as it's windy) means the birds don't land or are distracted by it.

Works on pigeons anyway!

Our rooks would probably try to mate with it. Or eat it. Or both, come to think of it.

Morning all. WFH today (that joke is getting a bit old...).

Trying to do some work anyway.

As it's fecking freezing here today I think it'll be on Zwift to rather than out in the plague ridden world.

Hello everyone!
I think I need to make an essential journey today. I guess I should make it very well known to the world with valves open and all that. Then a spot of gardening and maybe a bike ride.
Wine tasting night tonight via zoom.
HapPea Tuesday!
