That was definitely a contender however I have opted for this more fashionable (even cheaper) protection.

My EYES!

Morning all. Fantastic evening last night with our old wino pals. Not even too much of a thick head. Some litter picking supposed to be happening this morning despite it seeming to be armageddon outside. Then the school are turning up for a celebration lunch.

Have a great day, all

Morning all

Not good about the roof Andy we just had ours done by a local guy, trades here are still old school. Even the insurance company were fair as even though some of the damage could have been due to wear and tear rather than the storm they were prepared to compromise and offered to pay 75% of the costs - result all round

Why am I not surprised Wattie?

Morning all, escaped to Sally’s last night to avoid the party at home and keep the dogs safe. Will take them for a walk on the beach before heading home.

Have fun all...

Morning, all. After a productive yesterday shifting furniture between rooms (which involved lots of careful dismantling, accompanied by the sound of splintering would and fabulous compound swear-words), today I have a cold. Bugger! The garden needs attention and we need to choose some paint - the decorator’s back tomorrow to continue the gradual transformation of our house from battle-scarred to something more respectable and respectful of the old girl’s age.

Couple of scaffold towers and a bridge between and it's a DIY job.

A weekend with a friend would be all you need... been a few years since I gave up the tools, but happy to assist if you want help.

Pete that is very neighbourly of you and really appreciate your offer. The issue we have is we also have a car port which is right in the way and it isn't easy to take down so is going to be a bigger job than it should be.

A very good morning to all. Swansea today ......

Morning all; a silly o’clock start for me today as I’m sat in Fleet services already on my way to Shepton Mallet then race back to Paddington Station for a couple of inspections.

Have fun all...
