Slow start and I'm glad to say that I beat Joseph, I slept till 7:11. now breakfasted, I'm off to get vittles, and back for the DPD delivery of Vodafones telly box/interweb thing.

Colleague was given I final written warning for being an **** and he has appealed as said it was too harsh. Have another one down there next week but this is an appeal against dismissal.

Ah, yes. I'm the 'investigator' on a similar 'gross misconduct' case - first hearing in a couple of weeks.

Will 100% go to appeal unless the panel gives the employee their boss's job and a gold star instead of dismissing.

Woke up in a hotel in Sonning to a view across the Thames which look very high still.
Off to interview a candidate to joint my senior management team - fingers crossed he is up to snuff.
