...wife still spending, announced we need blinds yesterday.
Think I’ll go back to the van.

With new carpet just ordered for the lounge, stairs and back landing my wife has agreed that we’re done spending for this year. But we do need the small bathroom replacing in the new year. As I’ve got plans for some outside carport type stuff I need to figure out how to do the minimum viable bathroom overhaul quickly because, according to the control tower, the outside stuff won’t happen before the bathroom. It’s a tightrope we walk in these domestic negotiations!

Morning, all.

Can you stick a bathroom at the back of the proposed carport/garage.......a big one.

Bit like this , but with an Aston and a loo.E6A597C9-0DFA-447E-B3A6-26A971BC0A2E.jpeg

Same for me on Sunday... not looking forward to Baths roads! Esp with the Christmas Market.
Hope you enjoy it. Take some pics for me...

As we were on our way from Bath to the arboretum, David did three monster pukes and so used up all the changes of clothes and we had to abort and go home.
200 miles for the outing I've been looking forward to massively for ages and that happens. Oh, and my Mercedes got keyed. At least the car cleaning we did seems to have worked else the car would now be permanently smelling of cheesy spew.

Mental health pretty low right now so just in survival mode.

HapPea Sunday! First Sunday of Advent.

Rubbish day, Stevie, sorry to read that. Our youngest managed to hit the windscreen with his projectile puke from the back seats of our Discovery years ago. In Switzerland. God, that took some cleaning!

I'm sure the forum can recommend some exceptional paintwork guys. Not your neck of the woods, but I know two in East London, one of which is mobile. Just ask.

Thanks. It's only the lacquer coat as far as I can tell. I'll have a go at it myself over Christmas as there's a chance it will buff out.

Morning, you lot.

That London today. Meeting the CIO. I don't expect it to go well. This does not particularly concern me :)

Meh. Have a great day, all

Morning, forum dwellers. Cold one today. I'm off to London to do the worky thing and the Vantage is being collected to go to Cambridge for a week for a service, MoT and a few creaks and groans and tweaks of warranty work. I've left a list of what needs doing and explicit instructions to not wash it; it makes me weep to see the contract washers adding swirl marks to perfectly lovely cars.

I have two Christmas parties this week - the work one on Friday, which will last until the last person leaves (or in my case until the last train leaves) and our own knees-up on Saturday. On Monday I go to LA and intend to sleep all the way.

Chris - maybe not going well would be perfectly good, therefore bad=good and all is right in the world.
