Morning. Back to the drag today. Kitchen still in a mess. House needs cleaning. At least I've caught up on emails for now

Morning. Mental day in the workshop but managed to get three cars out....2 more in today.

I need some assistance from the collective on what do we buy my dad for his 80th birthday?

He’s notoriously difficult to buy for. Likes cars and bikes but does not do much these days. Doesn’t like going out to stressful environments as he suffers from anxiety.

Budget: £500-1000

Answers on a postcard...

If he’s not keen on going out, how about hiring a private chef to go to his house to cook/host a birthday supper for him and the family. Will be well within budget and means neither he nor the guests, need do any planning, shopping, cooking, serving, cleaning up - just sit back, eat, drink, relax, enjoy.

Morning you lot!

I'm on a train into London. Yay!
Yesterday I dropped the car off to Christian Lewis at his new, rather lovely gaff in glorious countryside. Much nicer location than before:

Fully humidified aircon so there's nothing to worry about even with a bare metal chassis.
Lovely 3 month pooch too:

As for house buying/selling privately. Yes, you can absolutely do it without an estate agent. You'll just have to organise everything yourself and with your Conveyancer. My Dad has done several privately.

HapPea Wednesday everyone! X

Thanks for the Dad 80th suggestions, he would not appreciate a chef in the house and would consider expensive wine a waste of money...he would rather have 20 average wines than 6 expensive.

See our issue, keep em coming...

Commission an artist to do a painting. Could be of him, could be of a favourite place, could be a family portrait, etc...
