What's the opposite of feeling like an expectant father? Anticipating Emblem invoice for 4 year service plus a "few jobs that probably need doing now". I said - "All this money and disappointingly it is not any louder and doesn't go any faster!".
Reunited tomorrow.

Morning everyone!
A good few sources of chuckles over your last day or so. Thanks :).
Today I finally have a physio appointment for my shoulder. I hope they'll have ideas to shift this pain. On the plus side, I'm constantly getting more function out of the left arm but there are still things it just won't do.
My godson's nursery have asked for a photo of me for his 'family book' and so they know what I look like if I ever drop him off or collect him (which is likely). Anyone have any good ones :beated:?
Food and drinks in town with some friends this evening. Should be fun.
HapPea Friday!

P.S. @midlifecrisis Please say 'Hello' to Pizza Girl for me.

Funnily enough, the Maser is referred to as the third child by the first child. However, in terms of overall cost of ownership the third child is a comparative bargain. Children #1 and #2 have been pampered like rare classics. Luckily child #1 has recently moved from the liability side to the asset side of the balance sheet, and child #2 now only requires a relatively small subsidy. Hence the headroom to indulge child #3. And the maintenance costs are far less than the depreciation of any comparable new car.

Morning, while away the morning and back to Blighty for me! Bus, Plane, Train, car.
People have realised I’m not back until Tuesday, so now I’m popular as that realise they will have to do their own update etc.
Have a good day,
Dave

Thanks. Yes, lifting in certain directions just doesn't work! I don't find myself straining to lift things due to them being too heavy but try and do something and the arm just doesn't do it. Nothing to do with strength, rather it's the nerve just not providing the message. It's very odd indeed!

Morning all. Not much going on today.

Yesterday we finally got a project over the line that has taken 18 months to complete. But because it has taken so long, there is no cause for celebration, more of a relief, and thank god that's over with!
On to the next one, which should be a **** sight easier!

Good sea food there but be aware your wife may want some of the very expensive flowers the stall outside sells.

She might want them :)

We're eating upstairs and I'm sure seafood will feature in at least some of the choices

Scary wine list!

It's in the old Michelin HQ. When I was a student in South Ken I promised myself I would eat there (the building is stunning)
Tomorrow is the day. Joint birthday present to Mrs C and myself :)
