My first bike was a Puch Maxi but I wouldn’t want another, my first car was a Vauxhall Victor 101 Super Estate, I would want one but you couldn’t find one as they rusted away to nothing!

What Stevie has is something very disturbing, see the GP or Mr Pharmacist straight away...

Are you referring to my palsy or something more generic about me?

My nerve issues are caused by a muscular hyper tightening from a sprain and compressing nerves.
My face isn't drooping, but you could probably have similar amusement at my expense by giving me drinks and making me drink with my left hand over which I have only partial control. That would be heightened by adding alcohol to the concoction of looney drugs I'm on for the pain.

Moggy Minor with fibreglass wings - err for me no thank you. On the otherhand my second car was a very early MK1 Escort with front wings, 1600 engine and disc brakes, still a piece of **** but would be worth a few quid today

Yeah, yeah, yeah...I know I’m mental but it’s a cheap bit of nostalgia fun to replicate my first car.

Remember how you all swooned over Phil’s R4 in Laval...we all see top end cars at all the events we go to and it’s always the one ‘oddball’ that stands out...the Fiat Strada cab at Alton, the manky old 2CV at Goodwood.

I’ll start a list for who wants a ride in her first.

The ‘poire’ (Pear) thing backfired on them as it was known in the end as ‘rotten as a pear’

It will be TS spec and gold with beige cloth but the rear seat will have less dna in it than the original passion waggon.

We had a 14 not long after we got married, I had a 2.3 V6 Cortina at the time, and they wouldn't insure the other half on it, so it had to go and we got the 14, seem to remember it was ok, but was along time ago!

TBF it drives really nicely. And at 58HP you would expect it to be terrible but it’s not. It’s only 850kg or so and for a 4 door family car it’s tiny.

0-50 it zips about and picks up briskly. We’re it struggles is motorway. 70 is all you want to do, going faster it all gets a bit scary and strained. I got it up to 85 and it wasn’t pleasant.

My first car was a Fiat 500. If it hit 50 that was downhill with a following wind, but it was never knowingly out cornered.

My first was a Renault 11 which was utter shi*e - nearly bought a 14 but went for a Alfa instead.
The 11 was instantly forgettable other than taking an Integrale round the outside of a roundabout.
The look of shock has lived long in the memory. Mine as much as his!!

Had two 11’s. The first a black 1.7 TXE ELECTRONIC.

Digital dash, spoke to you, thumping stereo, it was a great car. The second was a 1.4 white Boston which was gutless and forgettable.

Not like mine you didn't :naraz:
An 1109cc. I swear the extra 9 took it over the magic mark. As above, downhill with a following wind, but with 4 inside to keep it anchored.
It was the electrics though - someone had re-wired it ad hoc. That was fun to sort out.

You sexy bastaaaaaard

Just found this - even for Paris that looks pretty cool:
