Morning. Finally got the Opel GT running nicely. Tuning, new water choke, had the vacuum advance on the wrong manifold plug.

Bought a new timing light and a CO exhaust gas analyser to set the mixture.

Timing lights and getting the fuel/air mix just right. Them was the days! I could get a beautiful blue combustion flame on my old '69 Spitfire, but only if I cut the fuel back so much that it didn't have enough grunt to go anywhere. Bloody thing was burning as much oil as petrol. Bought a new engine, took it home from the breakers by removing the passenger seat and sticking the engine in the cabin. Stripped it down and found a mouse nest in it. It wasn't much better than the one it replaced.

Yet bizarrely I have very fond memories of that car, especially a heroic trip to the Netherlands in 1989, little of which I remember with much clarity.

Morning all. Office this morning sorting out a huge solar job (nothing to do with Dan) with one of the schools we work with, which we should finally get over the line.
Then this afternoon it's off to the hospital with Joseph which should see him signed off as a fit and health 18 month old.

Morning all.

Yesterday Joseph got sign off from the Doc's at the hospital so he no longer has to visit, which is excellent news. The Paediatrician couldn't believe the size of him for an 18 and a half month old.
Or as he call him an adjusted 17 month old.
This is a pic of him on a bike for 3-5 year olds! He's gonna be a big boy!

Another busy day in the office ahead. So better crack on.

Good to see your lad coming on strong, Mark. Great news.

Working from home today. Following an early start to knock some of the more tiresome admin tasks on the head I'm planning to take a gentlemanly approach to the day and wrap up at a civilised time. There's a filthy white car outside that needs a hose down.

Happy Friday all, cra##y weather for the weekend it seems!
Hopefully today I get released from HMP Musgrove! Who would have thought a bout of ‘housewives knee’ would result in a 10day spell in hospital, slowly loosing my marbles! Please please let me out!!!
Luckily it’s the left knee and the 4C is auto....every cloud and all that!
