Having walked (meandered) my way from Euston to St. James’ I’m rewarding myself with a pink gin! Plus I’m just a smidgen off 2st off!!! Meeting isn’t till 17.30 and I’m not doing any work so can get away with being a bit wobbly!

Well earned, Newton! I've taken the same approach today. Liverpool Street to Aldwych, Aldwych back to Holborn, 20 flights of galloping up and down the stairs and then a walk back to Liverpool Street. 13.5k steps, 9km and 89 'brisk' minutes of walking. If that ain't worth a Tanqueray and tonic I don't know what is.

Good stuff, Newton! I'm just a smidge off my first full stone off so super chuffed and going out for some curry and beers with a colleague now. A brisk walk there and back will help and I was in the gym before work, so it's well earned.

Oh, and our company just completed a significant growth investment today so good news all round.

Good morning everyone!

I'm waking up in Manchester today, back visiting one of my favourite customers. Amusingly I'm here pretty much as a delivery driver with a new machine learning computer. Yesterday evening my colleague and I found a particularly tasty curry.

As a company we've stumbled upon inventing some rather brilliant technology using machine learning. Because of this we've been looking to really push it to the world and seeking new funding to invest in it. Yesterday was a momentous day when that new investment was finally completed and several million has just been added to the company capital. It's going to be exciting times ahead for all of us. I'm hoping for an interesting change in rôle and it's quite an inspiring one for me. I'll post up more info as things develop.
Tomorrow night may get messy as the CEO gets back from a US trip and will want to take us all to the pub. I'd better get some exercise in!
