Morning all
Cold here and snow on the moors
Off to cycle to barbers, buy a pork pie, visit friends for coffee, put the world to rights with a contract out on Alan Titchmarsh etc

Great visit to the tyre fitters just now. After being told that I need two new front tyres on the Jag (after a garage did the alignment), the fitter tells me one of my rears is illegal and the other is unevenly worn.
He then tells me that the fronts are worn a bit on the shoulders but are fine!

The cracks in the sidewall of the fronts are still there, so they will have to be replaced!

Cowboy garages, alive and well, and still trying to rip people off!:mad::mad:

Morning. Ferries booked for Le Mans so some positives in all this gloom. Mind you, being aloud to drive our cars in France is still open to debate...because of Europe, not the incapacitation of the repeated consumption of fermented vegetable drinks.

I'm not planning on being terribly productive this afternoon ;)

Have a great day, all

Morning all!
Looking forward to hearing how Mme. French gets on. Best wishes.
Chris, very much looking forward to hearing about it.
Other than that... calm drive back to The Shire from The Wirral. Work off the epic breakfast I just had and then Thai dinner.
HapPea Friday!

Morning all. Great start to the day, being woken by Alex at 4am who appears to have picked up a case of galloping gut rot!
Then Joseph wakes up at 5am and won't go back to sleep.

So it's going to be a long day!

Went to Currys/PC World to pic up a cheap laptop which runs MS OS but the cheap ones are rubbish.

Anyone on here have a line in cheap laptops? Or preferably the smaller notebook ones. (I think that's what they're called).

If you go to the Dell site they have an outlet where they sell returned “new” items. Often no more than a scratch on the case or needed a replacement board at a significant discount but still with full Dell warranty.
