The good morning thread

Morning everyone and so quiet here it was easy to lay in bed.
Beautiful and Sunny so a slow day it will be for us hopefully getting a nice walk in at some stage.
Have a lovely day all.

Morning all, more DIY planned and maybe a few more outside jobs, I really need to get out and sand and oil the patio furniture must add to the list but fortunately there is always tomorrow or the next day :)

Morning all, am on call today so no drinkies for me, been battling with the '68 Mini Cooper in the garage trying to extract the damaged radiator and put a new one in, I'd forgotten how bad access is to the bolts underneath that hold it and the metal shroud in place! Started the day with ten knuckles, I think I've only got five left...! The sooner the Cooper is sold the sooner I can get something else!

I remember those days well with my Mini's and one of the first tools I bought was my very long screwdriver for the bottom hose mate.
I'd still rather work on Mini's than a lot of other cars though :)

The rad won't come out despite disconnecting the hoses and removing all the bolts, found one of the heater hoses is very badly cracked as well now so it looks like I'll have to get my local Mini guru in Shilton to fetch it on his trailer and sort it out. Engine could do with repainting anyway. There are times when I wish I'd given up playing about with Minis years ago!

Good morning everyone and back to the working week again.
Going to be a lovely few days here hitting the mid 20's.
Grass cutting for me today and getting my things ready for getting to Rotterdam tomorrow I can't pronounce where I'm aiming to get to though :)
Have a nice day all.

Good morning everyone, despite being a few degrees south of Tallinn, Riga is still Baltic. Did a few of the usual tourist stuff. Learnt a few things too, which is the point of this trip. I think there's a good vintage vinyl record shop nearby...off to explore

Have spent the day, honestly, actually looking at cheap electric cars to see if any could do the commute! OMG I and so underwhelmed by just about all of them, well one is a little inspiring.... Has a scorpion on the badge!

Morning. R5 seems to be the electric car of choice at the moment but I suspect cheap they are not currently. Well done to Renault for getting it right and actually making money in these stupid times.

Off to look at the news to see what that numpty Trump has been up to.

Good morning Matt and everyone.
Glad to be waking up knowing that Trump didn't carry out his threats on Iran.
Let's hope Peace can be achieved and the same for the other ongoing conflicts.
Another Hump Day too.
Me I've got to drive to Laval and get a train to Paris and then to Lille.
Later another to Rotterdam for tonight.
Have a lovely day all.

Good morning - well let's hope so (although better news from the world - and let's hope it stays that way) - got my speed awareness zoom course to sit through - first time for everything. And then see where poor old Roary is - if AA still haven't collected him from the Shrewsbury area I'll go and sit with him (I've since heard horror stories about AA collections)
