The good morning thread

Morning, you lot. Run club shortly, then some chores, then off to Hertford Beam for a matinee of War of the worlds. Could be interesting. We shall see.

Have a great day, all

@CatmanV2 im assuming there is some predictive text in that statement as it makes the mind boggle! OK, on re-reading it, it would have helped if I had glasses on and not substituted matinee for manatee!

Morning all, a shelf to build in the kitchen and some other minor works. As it is our ruby year, I got Jeanette 100 red roses for today; banking those brownie points!

Have fun all…

Blue sky and sunshine here in Dorset, with more of the same predicted for tomorrow. So I've pulled the Alpine out, as it would benefit from a run. I'm looking forward to using it.
Ditto here - but the gritters were out last night (even tho' it was raining :rofl5: )

Morning all, blue sky here but still chilly, working later on so mooching about looking at the classifieds as usual. Mrs.P5B is eyeing up a bottle of red which sadly I can't indulge in until tomorrow.

Going through my naughty cupboard I've found a couple of Ferrari books I've yet to read, will probably take one to work to peruse during my break.

War of the worlds manatee is, indeed, a boggling concept!

Good morning and Andy is in the manatee capital of the western world; maybe he'll bring one back for you. Anyway, lovely evening last night and a hostage situation another lovely evening planned with dinner and theater (Murder on the Orient Express) on tap...

Well it was NOT what we were expecting. Not a bad way to spend a Saturday pm, but neither of us would hurry to see that version again.

Still, listened to the album and then Voices In The Sky

Good morning everyone. Drank some wine yesterday and the night was terrible, stomach and head were drumming like ****. Things are fine now though.
Having a basketball game tonight, the rest is chilling out, as the weather is not good for hanging out.
I want to ask your thoughts about a day-trip from London, either to Cotswolds or Yorkshire. Which one would you choose? Any other suggestion in the same direction is welcome.

Have a good Sunday.
Cotswolds are lovely and easy from London.
Cirencester my favourite.
Also not too far away
Ross on Wye
Hereford
Abergaveny.

Morning all, typical American sporting event today, all day just to run a single race. and they have rescheduled to start an hour early as its forecast to rain later.
