The good morning thread

Morning all, BMW going in to address an annoying rattle which is a heat shield under the exhaust. Looks like the exhaust might have to come off to repair it so I am expecting the call that now it's off it may be better to fit a new one than put the 12 year old one back.

Other than that more forms to fill in for the trip to the States next month, they're worse than the Irish for red tape.

Excellent fellow; while all eyes are on Greenland you're sneaking in the backdoor to annexe the USA. Have a word with Stellantis while you're at it.

It's a bit of stereotype Matt, tourists coming for the summer think that we have 45 degrees all year long, but every winter we have some days, maybe a week or so close to zero. Every 4-5 years we have little snow on the Acropolis, and every ten years we have ca 50 cm of snow in the suburbs.

Believe me, with 45 degrees the Pirellis are fantastic tyres for here, it's the best kind of tyrewarmer and for free.

Morning all looks like another day like yesterday when it didn't stop raining all day. Other than that tyres on the daughters Skoda and a trip to an upmarket Bathroom / Kitchen supplier for a free "design" consultation.
 
Morning all, grey and damp here but life moves on, jury service now done and dusted with an 11-1 majority verdict of guilty, once we'd given our verdict the judge was able to read out the 30 year old miscreant's previous form with underage girls and other charges against him, happy that we've helped take the scumbag off the streets for a while. Awful business and it puts life in general very much into perspective.

Meanwhile - a test drive in a new Alfa Junior beckons!
 
Good morning from Leftpondia...forecast has shifted significantly such that I'm only looking at rain/freezing rain here, but things are looking worse for the other house which means I may be left to my own devices over the weekend...

It was a productive week @work this week, however not at all sad that TGIF. Just need to write a report confirming my clients boat is FUBAR, then easy sailing into the weekend.

Morning all, got back at 00.30 so a little out of phase with the world this morning. Got to recover the van from the unit today, Jeanette is driving to Barking later which is helpful.
