The good morning thread

Banking is back! Just 3 1/3 hours of pleading and I eventually got to talk to a higher authority who resolved it; never found out why it was going wrong, it would just claim something was wrong, change the password using the security number registered and it would still claim something was wrong, change the security number using the password it had just accepted and the same thing, it would claim one was wrong! I'm sorry but if it accepts the number to allow the password change they must both have been right and visa versa! Anyway, I'm off to self-flagellate for a while as it is likely to be calming!!!

Morning all, One report to write this morning, apples to pick and then stuff to prune in the garden later. Got some measuring to do to see if we can fit just a WC or a combined shower/WC in the upstairs main bedroom, in place of the built in wardrobes. The joys of an ancient house is very dark at night, near vertical staircase and a long paddle to the loo! There are longer term plans so it is an interim solution, but still better than a goes under.

Have fun all...

Morning all, probably local today, in the garden and Colchester to watch the soapbox race!

Unravelled the cluster fcuk that is the plumbing in the cottage yesterday. Back in the 60’s there was a boiler built off the side of the central chimney. There have been several iterations of heating systems most recently moving the boiler location to the end of the latest extension. At which point the heating circuit has effectively been reversed! Add to that the removal of the tanks. And the pipework snakes back and forth. I’ll simplify it in due course.

Have fun all…

Morning! Nice lie in this morning, sun's shining. Will be taking an easy day as after some great training in the last two days I need to get rid of some DOMS.

Have a good one, all

I've had to Google that Chris and hoping I'm not going to have to do the same.
Good Luck.

Depends what your goal is. Less likely to suffer it if you're focussing on aerobic improvements. I'm moving towards building some muscle. You might want to Google sarcopenia. I'm sure if you have a decent PT he'll have some ideas.

Reduction in muscle strength is one of the major contributors to age related degeneration and frailty.
