Morning everyone and Good news Andy.
Went and looked at more tat yesterday a 1965 Renault 4 and a 1986 Renault 5 the latter a very easy project that would look nice but not popular yet.
I'm a bit like a Preacher trying to save everyone :)

Morning all, passed MOT yesterday so don't need to go back for a final check next year.

Also got a chance to look at the 147 with head off, the bores are amazing considering its done 200k KM, no scoring, scratches or other marks not even a significant lip at the top which is probably boy why the compression test before the head was removed was showing a consistent 160 across the 3 good cylinders. Head being refitted this weekend so might have it up an running although NCT are taking new bookings for Feb 23, fortunately we know an Alfa owner tester who can slip us in at short notice

Sorry to hear about your dad @Andyk , Good that they have done something though. Looks like my one-two night stay is turning into a three -four night stay, they won't let me home today which I actually don't mind, beats sitting at home on your own! At least I have a reasonable view of Poole Harbour, stayed in worse hotels!

I learnt that poem at school and it always comes to mind when I see one!

Good er, whatever, all. Got through the hurricane with minimal issues. One alpaca roof covering gave way under the volume of rain, and haven't looked at my roof yet. But got second shingles vax yesterday (yes, was out in the weather...) and feeling rather puny today...

Good news abounds, it seems...glad to hear that all are relatively safe, sound, and/or soused...
