Hello, world, and Happy Monday. Bit misty out in the exotic east as well, but it's forecast to burn off and be a sunny hot one.

Today I shall mostly be knuckling down to finish the back of some work ready for a couple of days with another client in ol' London tomorrow and Weds.

Have a good week, all of you, whatever you're up to.

Morning all. Office for more of the same.

A few nervous days ahead though with all this talk of impending lockdown. We complete on Friday so if there is another lockdown (highly likely IMHO) then as long as it's after we've moved in (Saturday) I'm not too concerned.

Just need Saturday to come quickly.

Might get out on the bike this afternoon. I've been slacking on the fitness regime and the timber is beginning to pile on.

A very good morning to all........Big gas explosion in Chepstow yesterday evening at a house. Fire was burning all evening. Air ambulance at the scene and one person taken to hospital but think they are OK thank goodness.

Morning all, back to it today; actually most returning forum members exit’d via the M50. Still a little jaded today but mostly a burger and sausage overload, need to get some vegetables through the system. Got my daughter with me today and a couple of sites in Southwark to inspect first thing then local sites to follow.

in other news it seems the Aygo has reached the end of the line at 137000+ miles it is failing fast. Anyone got a 3 year old small car up for grabs at the moment???

Have fun all...

First day back at work after a month off and first time back in London since before lock down in March. Very odd. On the plus side drove in in the maser this morning rather than take the train.
In the 50mph average speed on the M4 the mpg was just under 29!
Hopefully wfh after today though. Have a good day all.

Morning all I’m a very proud Dad today. Our youngest ( we have 4 between us) finished uni this year with a first in business and accounting. Couldn’t find a grad job so to earn some money went into care work. Basically travelling around not getting paid between calls and having to work 60 hours to get 45 hours pay. But she did it and was happy getting some money. Last week she had an interview with the nhs and she got the job. No more travelling she’ll be working on a ward as a care worker but their interested in her degree. I’m really proud of her for sticking it out.

Morning all. Office and few bits to do for the move at the weekend.

And maybe another bike ride this afternoon. Especially as yesterday's was a calamitous. First I was stung by a wasp (head on collision with it!), then I got lost (twice), then I found the worst hill in Kent, with two sections that were a 25% gradient (velocity Viewer is your friend if you want to know how steep the hills you go up are), and then I had a contact lens come out!

Maybe I should stick to Zwift.....

Morning, forum.

Today, finishing off some work (done and sent) and then to London by Fiat for an afternoon meeting, back again tomorrow for an all day thing. If the traffic's not a **** today I might stretch the Vantage's legs tomorrow (inspired by Eb).

I now find myself in the fortunate position of contemplating two work opportunities and wondering I can squeeze both in. Potentially, is my initial assessment. Let's see.

Have a good Tuesday, all.
