Good morning all, a great start to the day.
After weeks of lockdown and not being able to get a decent coffee in anything other than a paper cup and sit outside a coffee shop with the papers - this morning we managed it.

Its a small thing, but has brightened my outlook all the same.

Very nice too. Though I'm thinking many places are going to be shocked at the increased cost of doing business and the decreases footfall (or bums on seats). Converging lines leading to a vanishing point !

I agree, the coffee shop we were in has lost more than half of its tables to accommodate Covid Secure guidelines and would normally be rammed at that time on a Saturday but was only @50% so that’s 75% down on pre Covid !

Bugger... up earlier than I thought... sleepy eyes read 08:20... realise it was 06:20. Now do I lounge or do the house work?

Morning all, still blowing here. Went to a garden centre yesterday and spent a rude amount on large plants for the patio and Jeanette, then to a fish farm nearby and spent more on not a lot! Today I will be mostly joining the new plants to the large terracotta pots she got from the kids for her birthday last week.

Have fun all...

House work....Get it out of the way Pete....Rest of the day to relax then.

House work? What is wrong with you people? I mean, are you trying to put the below stairs staff out of work?

Morning, all. Blowing a hoolie out there today. I may do some mucking about outside or I may not. It feels like that kind of a day really.

Morning all, once again nothing planned might go down the beach with the kids children and the dog, could be busy as the holiday parks opened on 1st July and looking by the traffic the Dubs are here

Morning all. Blowing a god one here. Sun shining though.

Parents in law coming for a 'BBQ' today. Big Easy outside, I suspect they will be staying inside, maintaining sensible distance.

Have a great day, all

Morning All,
Bright and breezy here,
Grass to cut.
Ordered some stairs yesterday for accessing the loft/hobby room so I’ll make a start on the demolition/ opening required.
Then F1/ Dinner and hour in tub.
Have a good day.

Morning all, first family day out today since lockdown, due to Zahra having to be shielding. Off to a Drive in movie, or probably in my case an afternoon nap in the car!
Enjoy you Sunday’s people

Today Mrs Scaf and I celebrate 34years of marriage - like most we have lived through difficult times including serious health issues, redundancy and spiralling mortgage interest rates causing financial hardship, but we have had good times as well and can now enjoy the fruits of my labour ;) but most of all we have three lovely children (the fruits of my wife’s labour ;) ) all fit and healthy and well in their way to making their own way in life and making me proud every day
