Cheers Loz, I kind of cheat and just do a brushed pointing on the flat stuff as it is a more rustic finish on the used bricks, the walls get a single struck variant at the time of laying, I can manage that.

Seriously try 5000ui of Vit D. Ive been reading a number of scientific papers on the anti inflammatory properties of Vit D ( plus magnesium for absorption) and I am amazed not more people are taking it. As a nation our Vit D levels are pretty poor because we dont get enough sunlight to generate it, so taking a supplement could make a big difference in helping to reduce inflammatory desieses, muscle injuries etc..which causes the pain. There is also evidence to suggest that it could be beneficial in fighting Covid-19, which is now looking more like a multi organ inflammatory illness. I've also had a really painful knee injury for over a year now, but since taking Vit D 5000ui ( and Vit C 500mg) its made a massive difference in just a month. Hardly any pain now. So might be worth a try.

Morning all. Probably had about 3 hours sleep due to Joseph keeping us awake all night. For god knows what reason!

Bit of work today which should hopefully bring in a few pennies.

Which is just as well as the ML went to the garage for new pads all round and new oil cooler seals.
Not much change from a grand for that little lot! Just what you want on the first day of the week (yes I know it's Tuesday!).
Having said that, that's all it's cost us in almost 3 years (other than tyres).
