Morning All! Up at 5:30 on a Sunday morning - and before Andy!

Apparently MrsMarkMas will be making bacon and waffles for breakfast later. Which is nice.

But then I am working all day. Mostly dealing with nonsense around the conference I am running in two weeks' time. Three speakers have baled on me in the past three weeks (one yesterday), plus about 4 people per day contact me asking for a free place at the event (No).

Hello everyone!
Church, food and some playing with testing cars. Not many options around for me at the moment but it's a good time for exchanges coming in from people about to get their 20 plates.
HapPea Sunday!

Good Morning Everyone, wow have you all $hit the bed? I'm only up because I'm in work.

Lots of water, tree detritus and wheelie bins on the road coming in to work. Two weeks to push...

What’s the subject? If you need speakers, ask on here. There’s a broad range of disciplines, some of which are socially acceptable.

Morning, all. Well, that was a wild and stormy night.

Quite surprised by the weather this morning given the forecasts we have had, not too windy and no rain.
Have to do some decorating for the in-laws this morning, just a quick coat of emulsion on their bathroom but the brownie points I will earn will go in the bank for later............. then it’s a lazy lunch and down the local.
Will have to get stuck into some real work later to get a head start in the week ahead.
Enjoy your Sunday .......

The subject is Scholarly Communications / Academic Publishing.

I could use a replacement speaker on current Artificial Intelligence applications in the scholarly communications space, exploring how these can be used to support research and improve content discovery.

I'm familiar with quite a few scholarly communications about the use of AI but in a totally different field to using it to try and help with finding sources and stuff.
I think this is where we need a forum of higher brain-power to help you, Mark.

Didn't we have a demo thread on the use of AI to auto-fill posts? Lots of good communication that.
