Torrential rain all day and night yesterday appears to be slowing a bit now. Fed up with this now.

Hello everyone!
Weekday have I missed? I'm in Harrogate where the Hilton Doubletree spoilt their lovely venue last night with a freshly hideous dinner after one of the most unpleasant drives I've had in a long time from the a Wirral in the rain.
Ah well, today may be dry and pleasant and when I get home I'll walk top the next village where a former next door neighbour is reopening the pub as the new landlord.
