Last day in the orifice today for a couple of weeks. Hopefully I'll be avoiding dragons under the Flores sea by Tuesday!

Wonderful! Enjoy. I'll be interested to know what you think of it. We considered Bali this year but are using Singapore as a base (a triumph of last-minute BA air-miles) and another three-hour bounce wasn't attractive, so we're going to Malaysia (Penang and Langkawi) instead. I suspect your diving and dragon hunting / avoiding will be better.

Morning, all. Mooching from home again today. Yesterday we picked up a loaner Merc CLA, which has the most extraordinary augmented reality satnav. Bloody genius thing. At junctions, it uses a front camera and then overlays directions. The car's OK, but that satnav - I want one!

Morning all, heading home to Blighty this afternoon.
Just had some news at work, seems Production have overspent so Maintenance, Projects have to lose budget for this year to compensate. So in effect my 6 months toil will be mostly wiped out by a few keys on computer. Still, they’ve paid, so should I care. No, not really, but I do!!!

Great / bugger*

Kids last day of school today for the summer holidays.
They finish at midday at the high school, guess the teachers will be heading to the the pub early!
Six weeks of lighter road traffic, but six weeks of keeping them entertained at home. No quiet WFH for a few weeks then!

Good morning everyone, wandering around the North visiting family and old friends. I'm having trouble spending more than £2.50 for a pint of beer.

Morning all. Nothing too exciting going on today.

The highlight of which is plotting a route for tomorrows bike ride.

Yes complete faff to get there. having to "overnight" in Bali (arrive 10.30pm, internal flight 7.30 following morning). Family is from Penang, lovely part of the world. Master Eb spent last summer diving with an Eco outfit on the Perhentian Islands. Enjoy the food!

Hello everyone!
It's our company's last day in this office today as we've really outgrown it - that's a good thing. Consequently all servers are being turned off this afternoon and we're getting an enforced POETS day - YipPea!
HapPea Friday!

Meeting in London this morning. Spent my train journey in with Chris Harris from TG/EVO as we both boarded at Bristol Park Way... nice chap.

Third time I have bumped into him... must think I a crazed stalker!

The office is absolutely dead, that coupled with the grey weather has led to a motivation sapping day. Can't wait to get out of here!

Had a lovely day in Bayeux.
If you have never seen the Tapestry its well worth it.
Lunch alfresco was nice.
What was the chance of seeing a mother and daughter both with ********* :)

Really enjoyed seeing it last week. Had been on list for a long time. Well worth the visit as you say.
