Newton, enjoy Aldeburgh. Bit spoiled by absentee second-home owners, but still lovely.

Matt, safe flight home. The weather's glorious here. You'll hardly know you're back.

Andy, it's nice that Mrs Z has the impression of involvement, but surely any further viewing of a garage with room for 10 cars is unnecessary. And it even comes with a house for her! What's not to like?

Morning, all.

Morning all.

Office today as per usual. It would appear that I have to work a bit harder than usual from now as Mrs Capes has been made redundant.
Which is never a nice experience, even if she wasn't going to be there for that much longer.

Morning folks!

Happy born-day, Blox. Geoff, that sucks, but does that mean a bit of a payout to maybe make up for it and not be too bad if she wasn't going to be there much longer anyway? If not, your son will be walking soon so you can put him to work.
Working from home this morning which is a bit of calm-before-the-storm. Thankfully I got a new laptop battery as the old one had expanded and was increasing its pace of expansion quite rapidly. The IT guy asked me if I could manage without a battery whilst I travel... errrrrrr...... and then I pointed out that airport security have the right to request I turn it on and prove its a computer. He asked "can't you do that with the power cable?" No! Took a while for me to convince them that I needed a niew battery urgently because I have a laptop due to the nature of my job (needing to work on the move) and that I needed to be able to work whilst flying. I had to point out that I didn't want to travel with the expanding battery by suggesting "Why don't I carry that battery that could explode at any moment and hey, why don't I travel using my Sri Lankan passport this time?!?!" They got the message and ordered a new battery - not with quick delivery. Stevie goes onto Amazon and gets same-day delivery on prime. :as001 (2):.

Other than that, HapPea Thursday everyone! x

Sorry to hear that, fella. I hope it works out ok, but it's never a good feeling. Best wishes to Mrs Capes.

Hello you lot.
I want to escape from aircon and breath outside air. Aviation fuel smells so good so why can't I go outside?
Tea. More tea.
HapPea Friday.

Good morning everyone, belated happy birthday to Blox. Redundancy is never a nice thing, Geoff.
